Important Notice: The meeting venue is changed to the 1st floor conference room of the

  building 25-1, due to a siginficant increase in the number of participants. We apologize

  for the inconvenience, but are also encouraged by the enthusiastic response to the workshop.

   We are also setting up a video conference equipment for those who would are interested in  

  the meeting, but cannot come to Seoul. If you would like to attend the conference

*** The 2nd Announcement of AKARI Extragalactic Science Workshop ***

  This is the 2nd announcement of a workshop on AKARI extragalactic
 sciences, to be held at Seoul National University, Feb. 1-2, 2010.
  Meeting venue will be at the building 19,  2nd  floor conference room of Seoul National University.  Please note that the conference date is extended to Feb. 2, as we received suggestions for many excellent talks. 


  The purpose of the workshop is to overview AKARI extragalactic
 science activities of Korean astronomers, and to make strategic
 plans to produce scientific results using the currently available data
 and the new data that will come in near future.

  We are still accepting registration. If you would like to attend the workshop, please send us your information (name and institution) to Dr. Ji Hoon Kim (jhkim@astro.snu.ac.kr) by January 27, 2010. You may register at the venue. There is no registration fee, and workshop dinner will be free for those who registered. The length of the contributed talk will be 15-20 min, but it could change depending on the  number of schedulable talks.
