Events for the public
1. History

In order to give the public opportunities of getting closer to the field of Astronomy, the Astronomy Program at Seoul National University had an astronomy-event once a year from 1983 to 1997. To improve this event, since the year of 1998, it has been held every month from March to November. It is hoped that the general public would have better understanding about stars and the universe through the event.
